Nice bag. Not my style and I don’t use hand carry bags though. Like you I don’t like the long strap. I hurt my hand over the holidays and told myself I wouldn’t carry handheld or shoulder bags too often for now. Unless it’s a mini bag.

I have three of these bags. I have the same small one you have but the newer ones now have metal zippers. Mine does and so nice compared to the plastic zippers. These bags are sort of made to look like certain LV bags. Their quality , I think is just as nice as LV.

I think u had the longer strap hooked in the wrong spot. It looks like the handles had a special spot for the long strap so maybe it would make the top handles lay flat. 😉
