I never had an issue with the cd quality, but it sounds terrible today on Spotify though. My cd was lost so i can't confirm the feeling today. Back in the days i always thought that midian was fantastic soundwise compared to Cruelty.

dopping by to leave a comment from 2024 since all the comments here are so old... i've been enjoying the stormblast album for years and knew about sorgens kammer being ripped off but this is the first time i heard the original. it's interesting that it's clearly ripped off but i think dimmu did a good job of improving on it and making it their own

But continuing on with with this short summary, this Michael, he is a demon warlock who is inside Travis father Terrence (dude with white hair) due to the that Terrence and Travis being the last descendants of Warlocks for that demon (Michael) to possess over, formally in short words there are vessel.

I remember having the Symphonic version of Dancing Mad as my favorite cover of this song. Then I was blown away by how Uematsu was able to fit in a fucking guitar solo into this masterpiece of a song and now this cover is my favorite. Ngl if someone could weave guitar solo into Symphonic version, we’d reach perfection.

An amiga game soundtrack must reside in a very constrained amount of bytes and, being the intro, cannot be too long. Anyone saying this "variation on that theme" is better is clearly not taking this into account. It's a bit strange instead that the cover isn't really giving anything more than the original, even if it is supposed to be a full featured song, able to go full power with instruments (quantity and quality) and lenght.
