I've been so burnt out for so many months, I keep trying and trying but I've been failing more than ever before. I've just been rejected by my dream university and it's so hard reminding yourself your worth is not linked to academic achievements. Thank you so much this video really helped<3

Firstly. I see you and I am so sorry that you’ve been feeling like this for months. Believe me it’s so disheartening and you STILL have to keep going cause time doesn’t stop for you to give you time to recover. As for being rejected, what are your plans next? Do you have a second option or do you plan to transfer in your second year/ second semester? I know a few friends who did that when they didn’t get into the uni they wanted. I hope this holiday has at least given you some time to rest and recover. And I’m routing for you ❤️

This has healed me, I have been wondering what's wrong with me. The introspection was not working because I was not being honest with myself and accepting my inability. I might have been a top achiever in highschool but I'm not anymore

As a first year mechanical engineering student at a different university, this was so relatable. I have been having a hard time getting the marks I think I deserve even after studying for days and weeks ahead or just straight up failing. I'm happy you expressed this.

I can relate so much to you. I've struggled academically my whole life and it's actually had a big hit on my self esteem and confidence. I've faced a lot of humiliation at school and I carry around immense trauma because of this. I've been able to graduate from university with a decent grade level. I most times just feel lost and thinking that I may not be able to find out what's meant for me or what I'm meant for. It actually gets depressing at times.

@@amosngopwa3081 firstly, congratulations on graduating. That is a mega achievement and I hope that you’re proud of yourself. As for finding what is for yourself I’m wishing you luck on that journey. Might be controversial but sometimes I think a purpose is overrated. Can be unnecessary pressure.

That's literally how my year was. I only passed 1 test. ONE TEST. I'm so lucky that I'm not even excluded from my course and I'll go back again next year. It's not my first time failing but this year it hurts even more! It hurts because of the goals I had. It hurts because I genuinely wanted to graduate with a 70% average. I genuinely wanted it. I studied. Stayed positive. Tried to do most of my tutorials. But I still failed. Yoh, this hurts a lot! I hope you get to heal!

All the bursaries are pretty good last I checked the nice think about Act Sci is that everything is usually prerrt standardized. old mutual, sanalam etc

Hiii, I’m a grade 11 going into AS level, if I don’t get into act sci, what would you advise if it were you? Is there a way I can study another degree and transfer to act sci(if so, what degrees?) Also, everyone says act sci is hard but what particularly makes it hard? And why do so many intellectuals drop out? Also this was more than informative, thank you so much! There’s not a lot of information on act sci on the internet and you put so much effort and detail into this video. Much appreciated again!

1. Check the courses that are as similar as possible to act sci. That’s usually something like analytics or a major in maths/stats. Then make a transfer in your second year. Best is to speak to an advisor! 2. The content is extremely difficult to grasp conceptually, you don’t have a lot of time to understand and you have to do 1001 things all the time. Hope this helps!
