People shouldn't do nikah to be seen of men - that is the acts of the munafiqs. Nikah is done to complete deen and to best serve Allah. A public announcement informs who is not available on the shelf and that is it, so people know who is off limits and whether an illegitimate nikah has taken place, i.e. one that transgresses the rights of the Wali or another interested brother or sister prior to the marital relations preceding a nikah and gives place for people to intercede and block a nikah until such issues are amicably resolved for consents to be clear for all.

There are so many great things you can teach people that are that is in the Quran. Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him said that cats are spiritual beings. So I would hope that you would not try to turn people against the animals. Its like saying don't bring babies in your house. Please be careful what you say to people because some people will take this to heart and hate little cats because of it. There are people that kill and hurt cats please don't give these bad people anymore excuse to hurt them. When you bring an animal in your house it is a family member and you should take care of them love them and they will love you back. Holy people don't just get rid of an animal to get another one it's your responsibility to take care of that animal while it's alive. Animals build a bond with us and it breaks their heart when you let them go. If a Jen wants to come in our home I'm sure it's not going to pick a little cat what you need to do is is pray asking the heavenly father to protect your home and the people in it.
