have you tried do crossroad an official delivery pizza box mounted onto seat clamp?
@columbiashoes5 күн бұрын
The lugs on my Checkpoint ALR 5 are the mounting points for the rear rack, some paint damage on those points is possible, nothing on seat, rack handles at least 15 kg with no problem. My bike has no suspension and I've never delivered pizza on my bike. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching!

@@columbiashoes thank you. May I rephrase my question? Do you have experience with riding when a relatively tall bag is mounted : 1.6 foot ~50cm~19.2inch height 10kg on the rear seat? (deliveroo and other delivery motorbikes have large square boxes - which I like - I assume they can carry heavy multiple litres(and so kgs) of e.g. coca-cola )

can the attachment for rear racks ruin the painting of the bike under seat e.g. when there is 15kg packages on the rack and jumping off and on pavement bumps in city? (front suspension only) what's your experience on this?

@@AdventureWhatever0 we didn’t have much choice, we were planning on going down Hiawatha that day and to a campground before Avery along the St Joe but we got to the trailhead too late, the trail was closed and they were doing night maintenance in the tunnels so we ended up right on the trail. It was a nice flat area with a toilet and a creek nearby and we didn’t see anyone the whole night.

Ok, 2 things i noticed right away. 1. You can’t do a group ride with 6500 people thinking about the worst that can happen, because you almost guarantee yourself that it will. Self fulfilling prophecy Paul- be positive! #2. Your buddy with the aero helmet on? I would be more nervous riding around a guy like that than the dude with the viking/rhino horned helmet. That first crash was pure Seattle . The rider got his front wheel parallel instead of perpendicular into an expansion joint/road seam and it took him down. Seattle is famous for these bastard road joints just popping up - especially in bike lanes. That second guy with the bloody face in Kent- probably hit gravel or sand. I live near that area and i hate riding on/across West Valley Hwy. if the gravel doesn’t get you, you will almost certainly find glass/nails to puncture your tire. Good job finishing. I did the 2 day version the year before but wish i did it in one day as getting back on the bike Day 2 after doing 116 miles Day 1 was brutal regardless how much chamois butter i used.

I hate needles so much. But from the beginning with the testings I couldn’t run. When I got diagnosed this summer my neuro told me I would have to take them every week I cried. It’s been three months and I still cry for an hour before injecting it. Watching this made me realize that it could be easy, and you made it look easy. I feel a sense of comfort. 🥺

I'm having my first one today ... I was diagnosed last week I cried a looooot because I didn't accept the idea that I have MS I didn't accept that I'm having this shit but I realised that I'm not alone... and I watched a doctor's video where he says that we're soo close to a cure .... and I stopped crying and I'm really calm right now and I'm happy because we're going to be healed soon ...

Try to get to a state of mind where the injection is something you rather forget, than to dread - I'm a needle phobic to this day and I know, a standard syringe woulod be impossible for me. Years ago I spoke with my doc about a pill that was coming, but after reading all the side effects (Foot fungus? From a pill???) I decided to stay on the pen for a while longer.

This video really helped me when I was first diagnosed. They put me on avonex straight away, I was really apprehensive initially. It took me ages to be able to push the button. Then I watched your video, you really did inspire me to be confident in using the needles. I've been diagnosed 6 years this year, and even now I regularly watch your video when I'm feeling anxious about my weekly injection. I just want to personally thank you for the inspiration and motivation you've given me for the last 6 years. All the way from the UK, thank you.

I pity people like you - and I don't mean it condescending or malicious in any way. I've been diagnosed 2013, after my second surge AND am a needle phobic. Yet when I read about people like you, I get the feeling you dread from injection to injection. Like I said, I'm a phobic, yet this takes so little space in my live, I have to remind myself not to forget the injection. Like usually I do it Sunday evening/night, this week I took it Tuesday evening.
