I had exactly the same frame but with stock cro-mo stem and cromo buttet bar. It's pity that i had sale it :(. Like watching ex who you still love😊

Excellent video 👍😎. Focused on the job at hand. I like your step by step methodical approach. I have a 1993 Trek bicycle that I am going to rebuild. Your video gives me the details on how to do this. Thanks 👍

Nice vid. I have the black and orange splatter one, I think it’s the 1991 BotE. I’ve put v-brakes on it too, but yours came with the g-force cantilevers, would be nice to have them on the bike.

I have 2 bear valleys that I don't know what to do with! They are very light, but everything is so outdated on them. I wanna new bike, but feel bad about dumping these! They were brilliant bikes, But I know nothing about bike mechanics.

It would be interesting to know what your back ground training was my friend. It's always nice to see someone who is using quality tools and moreso with good technique. The bike overhaul and transformation would definitley give another 10 years of servicable life with the odd bit of fettling here and there to say the least. Thanks for sharing the rebuild buddy 👍

Nice build! Good to see you can get replacement polymer springs for the Judy XC. I found mine were crumbled like that about 15 years ago. I ended up getting another XC from eBay that had the White Brothers gas cartridges installed. Maybe I’ll try and rebuild my original Judy now.

It's always pleasing to see a bike where the front brake is one the right lever. A lovely restoration yet again

This is a lovely restoration. I wondered why you didn't put a clear coat once you'd polished the frame and added the decals. However that is a minor thing, it looks great. One of my current projects is a GT from around this era. I've put on a solid fork and am still looking for inspiration to go forward.
