THANK YOU for this video focused on organize! Quick clarifying question. The last question in the video asked whether or not you should be reading through the case and typing the rules and you said no read through the entire library first. Is this a new strategy? Your other videos have us typing out the rules as we are reading the individual case. Did you do this because of the time constraints you have for creating a BarMD video? I asked because this entire time I have been completing MPTs by writing out the rule proofs as I am reading through the cases.

I always say to read through and dissect and identify where each case goes (which issue are you using it for) and then go back and write your rules/rule proofs. The reason for this is because you might find that one case is better than another or you might find more rules, etc. as you read through. Plus, you need to make sure you are managing your time effectively. That being said, if you are doing it that way and it works for you, keep doing it. I'm not super rigid in that -- anyone can take what I say and tweak it to what works for them.

Hi, Thank you so much for this video. For the first paragraph of the analysis, should we not mention the general rule first or that only one exception exists? It makes me think that yes the contract can be disaffirmed on the necessity ground but what about for other reasons. Perhaps because this is bc you are just doing a short version. Thanks again

Are you still around? PS. A takeaway from this video for me is, "It's very thoughtful on her part to choose the 4th Amendment." Of course! So happy you find the material helpful. You can identify to whom you are writing from the task memo. Don't start with a statement of facts. Only write one if you are instructed to. Through practice, you can figure out whether the task is objective or persuasive. It often tells you if it is one or the other.
