Hi rivka, I was raised jewish but my religious training ended when I was 9 years old. I am now 64 years old. But I remember the last thing I was taught was to respect the blessing of my body so much that I should never throw away my nail clippings but find a use for them such as cleaning under the new nails and burying what I cannot use.
