Both are okay! The video says "eat" but you can also use the verb "have".

In Canada we use both systems. The metric system is easier to understand in my opinion.

I teach ESL to adults, and I wish I could say how much I appreciate these! I like to teach situational English, and these are perfect for level 1. We used the shopping for clothes last week. That's how I discovered this channel. I've subscribed! Fantastic for zoom classes as well.

Hi Celina, I appreciate your kind words. I'm not sure if you know that many of the videos have lessons on my student website here: janis-esl.issbc.org/iss-of-bc-students/ (No login or fee or ads for the lessons. Unfortunately, I can't stop KZbin from adding ads to the videos.)

Hallou! 😃 Nice video, ya question 😸 do you use kilograms and pounds for most of things?
@ISSofBCESL2 жыл бұрын
In Canada we use both systems (metric and imperial). Some people use pounds, some people use kilograms but most people use both. We use the metric system for temperatures (Celsius) and driving (kilometres). What about you?
