Because I made this build quickly out of whatever gear I had at the time 7 months ago. Flail and life staff have been nerfed since then.

Bro, thank you so much for the build. I wanted to play SnS with Serenity so bad after I got the artifact at track 115 (BY THE WAY) I've tried light, medium and heavy in OPR. This void dark plate gets me to almost 2000/2000 armor. It's insane. You actually live enough to deal damage with the greatsword now. Just waiting for the patch for the magnify changes. Awesome stuff, thank you again!

Inferno is the only Fire Staff Artifact. It might be better for this build than IG Deep Freeze, but it hasnt dropped for me after many tries in the Empryean Forge dungeon. I have had bad luck with this and The Butcher or I would be making more vids on those.

I would agree with you but those require aim and can miss alot, and I dodge splitting grenades most of the time as healer

I was using a i7-8700k processor, 32gb ram, ssd, and RTX 3060 graphics card when I recorded this. I upgraded to an i5-12400k which I am disappointed in, it plays the game better but bad at recording. Probably going to send it back for a newer i7 processor

Its all the wins I could get before the servers crashed after a bad patch day. Like I said in the description, I dont have any gold left to spend on full Ice spike build but I thought I would show what its like normal for most people I guess

Stats were 200 con, 250 str, 100 dex. I tried to point at it with my mouse in the vid because the stats get messed up due to Magnify whenever I leave arenas.

I spent a lot of time in Outpost Rush at first. I recommend new players go Heavy, Sword and shield or Fire Staff/Ice gauntlet for range. Arenas are harder but PvP in Outpost Rush is all about just staying in position, and being aware of your surroundings so you dont get outnumbered.

I can only have 5 artifacts quests at a time and I dont want to level up Mjolnir again until they buff it, the hammer debuff doesnt feel all that fun to me.

Enjoying these build videos, thanks for the work put in! Its clear you're putting in the hours. I'm about to try out this heavy build because it seems like we're shifting that way (or already have kinda) and I want to get used to it. Love how versatile this channel is with the PVP builds. Also another plus is, the gear you're running isn't technically BIS and you're STILL crushing it in 3v3.. that made my ears perk up even more when I saw this set. It should help people realize they don't need a perfect set or even 700 to be competitive in 3s and OPR.

1.st they care, they are just not competent enough. Thats the problem, like bunch of junior and med working on the game. Way to buggy. 2nd. The game needs to be optimized better for sure. 3. I dont agree with you on this one, i dont play blunderbuss but i like the idea behind it. It's a personal preference. 4. I dont mind a few companies holding the whole territory. Or even 1 or two, actually a great idea. It's kinda interesting to strive to join or to create something and make them fall. Like in a real mediveal war. But at the end, this one is also a personal preference. 5. I understand, however the fightining mechanics in this game are better in any other mmo. This game is 10x more fun then lets say WoW. Its 10x more broken and unpolished. But each fight is so unique and the combat system is amazing. So yeah i mean so many reason to play, and so many reasons to be not satisfied :D But at least no montly payments :D

Its better to use a sword or flail and shield with your heavy weapon these days because the block is very useful and blunderbuss will take down a bruiser. If you have a healer friend you can run almost anything.

True words. I've been with New World since day one and the incompetence of the developer is unbelievable. If I worked like this in my job, I would be dismissed. But please keep up the good videos. For example, the video you posted is my playstyle. A bit more tanky but similar. Friends, PvP and Graphics keep me in the game.

I normally enjoy SnS/Great Sword but the amount of BBs im up against just make it boring to me. And I attempted to get the butcher but I can feel my braincells getting deleted after about 10 trys on their boring ass dungeons.

I can do that! It probably won’t do as much damage as SnS/great sword because greatsword likes at least 100 dex and flail doesn’t use dex at all

Great to watch someone in "not bis" gear succeeding. Your videos are really motivating doing more PVP. I was always very hesitant due to lacking gear score and bis items. I'm following your build ideas and finally having fun in OPRs :-)

Yes it does but it makes your life steal stronger and if you get a healer then you are really op. I thought about switching it out but wanted to see how it did.

Clear out knocks people down, which is supposed to work with the Perk on the Odo flail to do 20% more damage.

How long does it take an experienced player to gear up for pvp after hitting lvl cap?

You can start PvPing even before level cap in the Arenas or Outpost Rush, joining these game modes boost you to level cap and 675 Gearscore. But it takes a long time to get fully maxxed out gear. I dont use any fully maxxed out builds in any of these vids except my Firestaff. That said it is still very good gear that I collected over months.
