How effective were your anti-squirrel measures?
@bruneprune4 күн бұрын
It worked for a year without an issue but this year when i went to plug in there were a few pcs that were cut by squirrels eating at it. This light style was a lot better than the other but not fool proof.

OR how about NO, that is a VERY BAD way to fix those lines. Get a ferrule crimping kit, VERY cheap and very good. What you did is LITERALLY illegal in OSHA world and for good reason. The crimp connection CAN NOT be rated for less than that of the hose. Please STOP doing this nonsense. i mean it could get you seriously killed.

@@bruneprune look up the word "Ferrule" The tool that is in a good $ range that works GREAT is Amflo 855 Hose Crimping Tool I use this for all my air lines and high pressure lines for things like power steering, or making -AN lines for transmissions. I have personally tested lines up to 600PSI, im sure the connection can handle more!

That's a ticket if you have to drive thru a scale or get pulled over by D.O.T. and your strap doesn't have the writing and the wear indicator line facing up!! Also the strap is not to be on the outside of the rub rail. Another ticket!! Rub rails are designed to protect your straps. If you get in an accident and the straps are cut you can potentially lose your load and injure or kill someone!

It would help not burning through bits if you didnt try to force the bit theough with your whole body at full speed. They work better if you either have high speed and low pressure or low speed high pressure.
