I would argue if you wanna sound original get a guitar find a long lost tuning experiment with different cord shapes instead of the same same old bar chords and cowboy chords make up your own court progression and borrow chords from outside of the home key

I’m trying to connect an old keyboard that has sounds on it to my fl studio on my Mac book, I’m trying to use the sounds from the keyboard, it has midi outputs and in puts, but wouldn’t I be able to use the keyboard sounds if I just connected the keyboard via “headphone” jack to the scarlet then to my computer???

Thank you very much, this was very helpful for me! I write songs for many years but now for the first time will use Ableton. I used Audacity for a while but I don't like it. This video perfectly fits to the knowledge I have by now. Are there also instruments to use in the free version of ableton? I want to record my singing, my guitar and add some elctronic instruments in the software - which version of ableton should I use? And a question - why did you recors the guitar twice and what exactly dass EQ and Compression exacrly mean? What does it to the vocals? Thank you very much again!
@RawLive-fn5js10 күн бұрын
the guitar was recorded two times to create the stereo effect sound (with left and right). If you listen the song with headhphones you will hear the difference

I think it's great to experiment with different kinds of tools. But I also love the process of getting hands on with creating the music myself as well.

Great vid! If you choose a mac, then Garageband is free! Just for starters. 😉 used it for years. Ofcourse depending on your musical taste, but still ! 🎉

I know this is 3 years old. But, can confirm. Still works with a BOSS BR-800 for audio controller, some stomp boxes for very specific sounds and my Guitar.

Idk if I'm the exception but I am the friend that got shared a license of FL studio and has not shared it with anyone else. My friend and I just make beats together to see if we can come up with different sounds and styles and make silly songs to rap to. I'd put myself in his position and would not like it if my friend did the same for me.

This microphone advice is spot on. It's strange how rare it is to hear the tip given how much headache (and money) it will save anyone in a less-than-perfect home studio setup.
@ProductionDen23 күн бұрын
Thanks Chad. I've definitely found that you can still get great results with a simple setup

Aw man! Definitely not trying to do that. Maybe it doesn't like the link to a google sheet. Maybe I can try to put it in a PDF or something. Let me know what would work best for you.

Can you get something like Lekato percussion sample pad to work on fl studios for midi drumming? Say I’m not an expert at drums but I could play what I want in pieces, I want to be able to play with real sticks but haven’t seen any fl studio tutorials on those.

Hi it's been eight years since I used FL Studio and I have a vocal track in Edison and I've forgotten how to increase the volume in certain parts of the vocals. I tried right clicking but I can't see where to do this, I used to know how but after trying many times I just can't remember if you can please point me in the right direction? 😊
