Personally i would try that I love to beat all stages that have the doom powers optional

Ratchet and clank is sorely underrated. The positive from this is that it hasn't been remade into oblivion

Here's a challenge idea for you. Can you beat Ratchet and Clank Tools of Destruction on a fresh new save file without any rareatanium upgrades on any of your weapons. As an extra optional challenge try to use the Ryno sparingly as I don't want the video turning into a Ryno only run.

Definitively an interesting idea. Amazing that even after all these years, this game can still be played in a way that makes it challenging.

if you were ra2 gold bomb glove is glitched where it has the best damage in the game, great video though

at 5:00, you can actually skip the doom spears for this. theres a platforming section on the outside of the building, with the top of it being really close to a wall that you can jump over to get to the grind rail before the first doom blast, so you can shave off 2 from the total

I've got some ideas on how to lower down the amount of Doom Powers needed for this challenge. You can skip both of the doors that require Doom Spears leading to Metal Overlord by going to the platform challenge on the left side of the building next to Kingdom Valley, and boost jump your way over the gate. You just need to do it both times for going to Metal Overlord but it's not that hard to do. I know someone already mentioned the Chaos Island Chaos Control warp, but I wanted to bring it up as well since a different video I saw managed to find it before unlocking the Doom Morph. (the video was a minimum boost challenge with an extra bonus challenge of not using anything else that used the boost button) As for the end segment of Chaos Island Act 1, you could air boost and then start spamming Chaos Spear to keep your momentum in the air and maybe save your double jump to get up there. Also, for that shortcut to the Mephilies fight, it only spawns after you go through the gate from the other side. So, you go through it after the Chaos Island challenges open up to unlock the transformation orb thingy, and then you can shortcut your way there. While I haven't tried it myself in a new game playthrough, the game does give you the option to run through both Radical Highway acts without the Doom Wings, meaning you won't be forced into them with a cutscene in Act 1. I'm getting this video a month after it was initially uploaded, so I'm sure by now there could be some new discoveries that could lower the total number. From what I've suggested, we can save 5 uses of Doom Powers, it's not much but getting that number lower is still really good.
