most of it just feels like it was from crim, all the revamps sort of removed the feeling and wasnt just another crim knockoff and they actually had their own ideas etc, they SORT of tried and made it realistic (besides inhalers armors etc) just the kill sounds, the kill cards on the bottom right and also the revive symbol

I think Slasher, ads and screams should not be added because it just doesn't fit into the game. Slasher is a fictional weapon and kinda unrealistic. Ads don't fit cuz the District isn't familiar with it's lockdown. Screams aren't added because of the Audio, but also the player's character gender and realism overall.

I know Criminality uses the exact same scream sound effects which is just a pitched up demoman scream from tf2. I'm not sure how Valve is with other games using their sounds but I'm fairly certain there are other Half-life sounds within both Blackout and Crim, so my guess is that the screaming was removed to separate itself from crim, that or the devs just didn't like it.

ngl flashlight should be an extra grip and have a keybind whether you want it toggled on or off, this can be useful in metros whenever theres a power outage

the old ragdolls were also a lot better but were for some reason scrapped, same thing goes for the old fall damage
