When I look around today at what I personally call "christendom" it breaks my heart to see all the false prophets, false teachers, false apostles.and the signs and wonders crowd that accompanies all these folks claiming to be part of the "great awakening" My wife was persecuted in an independent Baptist church in Cisco when they pledged to the flag at the beginning of service and she stood but didn't pledge because of her biblical belief of not taking oaths..it had nothing to do with the NFL social justice division at the time. So I went on a Wednesday night bible study with her and he pastor spoke about people kneeling or not saying the national anthem and he repeated trumps words that anybody that doesn't should leave the country.The whole group echoed his words and both of us knew this was directed towards my wife. I will say with passion , we do not vote at all , we have made our stand not to "get involved with the affairs of this life" and to contend for the faith once delivered to the saints. I want this to be known up front that unbeliever we are in not a great awakening but apostacy. I used to be involved in the signs and wonders movement and he word of faith gold dust movements so when God brought me out of that in would share this and expose it and was threatened by a very popular good works preacher in Abilene Texas who once was not involved in any of that but brought in teachers to persuade he homeless these doctrines. I'm very cautious of even conservative churches even expose the prosperity stuff but subtly introduce politics in their pupits. We have seen it and I think it muddy the water. We are not perfect..We do struggle with the flesh but take courage that we look back and see how God has worked out his sanctification and things we once been bound to we contented desire .
