Aww man, you really cooked with this one! And in 60FPS too?! The little natural motions from holding a big bit of plastic and steel are so good while the jitters from moving the weapon about and having thins like the bolt and magazine lock into place are crisp. (Also sorry about your fingy. If not already, I hope it gets well soon.)

Damn, this is your best one yet! The camera work really sells it: From the wobble of just moving the shotgun to it flicking up for the recoil and round insertion. And the recoil too! I love how it kicks out like a mule, contrasted very nicely against the more thoughtful movements. The only criticism I could levy at you, (and it's nitpicking really), is that in order to reload the Auto-5, I believe you need to hold down a release button on the side like a SPAS-12. And that the barrel slightly reciprocates (a very minor detail though). It's something that even BF1 got wrong and they corrected in BFV (of which this animation genuinely compares to). Here's a video from Tigerfield if you want to see what I mean: kzbin.info/www/bejne/g2momaaIraqbiJIsi=O28IM9IDBDlWqZvn (2:00 for BF1 and 0:00 for BFV) Overall, you did a fantastic job recreating the classic Humpback and your improvement from ven your M1911 is vast!

To my eyes the shooting part of the video is literally perfect, I just feel that everything feels a bit too floaty, but wow you really did improve a lot. Can't wait to see what 3 more years of improvement will bring!

Damn, an actual mile's worth of improvement: Snappier recoil that climbs, more thought in removing the mag, a bit of flare on the draw and topped off with a slippy slide. You've come really far since your first and should be super proud of yourself. (Also, the graph editor is soooo good, I wish I had learned it sooner. Child Of Constraints too, if you're not already.)
@doctalemonАй бұрын
I wasent a fan of graph editor because it was always complicated for me, but the "normalize" button with the repeat symbol on I found out how to use it, it feels like a requirement at this point if you feel like having a realistic vibe

Regarding the animation: I thought that came out pretty good. It was such a cool stylized alternative to the original and, despite you putting a pin in it, I can see you've put a lot of time, effort and passion into recreating it to the best of you abilities. But with that being said, I'm sorry you feel that way. Imposter syndrome can be quite whack. But as a pair of outside eyes who's been able to watch your skill level drastically improve, you've done so well up until now and have been so experimental. The ironic thing is that in order to really hone in on a niche, you have to try a whole lot of other styles to see what works and what doesn't. Still, in spite of that, you've come a long way and should be proud of yourself. Glad to hear you've been having breaks too. I wish you luck in focusing in on your craft and making this a hardcore 2024, from one amateur animator to another. And hopefully you can give this the attention and facelift it deserves once you decide to come back around to it with a bigger toolbox of higher quality tools.
