shame ray couldn’t see the man in the suit art like godzilla actually paid off with the works like stan winston and jim henston and many many other movies! like ghostbusters to alien and that he never saw the original unaltered godzilla movie which was vastly different in tone to the american movie cause it came out unaltered in 2004 not sure if ray saw the 1942 super man short of artic giant which you could say the beast and godzilla where copys but it’s pure coincidence really

I actually like the early design of Yoshi shown here looking more like a t rex. It definitely limits the confusion of whether he was another theropod or dromaeosaurid carnivore in the movie since he's supposed to be a baby t rex, mirroring Koopa's previous state of evolution of which he was a t rex. And the animatronic work is just absolutely groundbreaking *chef's kiss*

Thanks for the upload. I remember watching this non-stop back in the day. But the one I saw was different, it was the American broadcast version that aired on the Discovery Channel and it has some slight differences from this one. Wish it'd be uploaded in good quality here someday, especially since the VHS tape I have it recorded on sadly is deteriorating more and more with age. Someone surely has the American broadcast version of this special recorded in decent quality, waiting to be uploaded.

There is a TV version that had actual Jurassic Park footage. Someone needs to find that.

5:30 -- This is now dated , hollywood wants only to remain faithfull to the dinosaurs in the 90's in this new decade.... one day we will see feathered dinosaurs in movies, but maybe not in this or the next decade.

Did you tape it off tv or was it released on VHS?
@kathybartholomew58707 жыл бұрын
This was available on VHS. I bought it through Amazon back in the early 2000's, but I think currently there are none available. I might still have this somewhere, but not sure. They had several different themes. You can search for "movie magic behind the scenes" in movies and tv on Amazon to see the different episodes.
