Personally I like technology. For someone that has never used it to make a statement that it is “cheating” is a little far fetched. I still have to ride around using sidescan, downscan and 2d sonar to find cover, structure or a school of fish. Does it help seeing how fish react to your bait of course it does but other than that it is a lot of fun. It just another tool to use. Just like the development of braided or fluorocarbon line was an advancement so is forward facing sonar. That’s just my views and I do appreciate your views.

Lived on Bugg’s all my life that place can be tough and hard to be consistent on …takes years to figure that pond out but when you do you’ll love that lake

I will be back there cool lake. Tournament was won by guys from that area I believe. I had a blast fishing it though!

@ I believe that we got a handful of locals that are just straight hammers even in mid January they catch 15-18 lbs

A lot of people complain about the BFLs. I enjoy fishing them. It’s good competition. I’m going to fish the full Northeast Division again for 2025 and then possibly do the Toyotas in 2026. I’ll be retired and can devote more time to practice. Thanks for watching!

Mr. Alan. Those noodles are gonna fall apart and mess up the livewell pump. It’s happened to me. I make a humble suggestion to wrap them in plastic wrap!! They’ll last longer and won’t fall apart!!!

Back story this was this years BFL Tournament on the St Lawrence. My co-angler put his rod down to net my fish and it got hung up while we were drifting. It flew off the boat like a rocket. Chased every fish in that area for a little bit but wasn’t going to have him lose a rod.

I have the same rod… fantastic but their customer service was subpar. Had an issue with the rod seat didn’t even attempt to fix or replace. 5 year warranty pretty weak at that price point

I sent email and video of the issue… maybe I’ll give em a call. I Already moved on to dobyns and using my older g loomis rods. Just left a sore spot. You drop hundreds on the rod it needs to be supported

I think we all agree. Our children MUST be protected. We should look to add provisions and planning to this problem and not take things away from citizens. Ultimately, it comes down to this same old debate.
