Thanks. I could draw the ray diagrams and understand the mirror and lens equations, but couldn't translate it to the physical world and couldn't get it from my physics books.

The static pressure drops as the pipe diameter decreases and the fluid speeds up. What happens to the dynamic pressure?

Until I saw this video, I was able to make this work. Now that I know that it's not possible, I'm not able to make it work again! Thank you so much... 😒

Wait the angles are the same so because of symmetry the tensions should also be the same, shouldn't it?

No, the upper string has to pull harder because it must support the weight of the ball.

I understand so its the way you measure it is what is making this so counter intuitive because the is still 4 n acting on the spring making the Net force of the spring 0 but the net force on the spring 4 but it measures only from one side so it only reads 2 so if you could somehow change the measurement device you could theoretically read 4n am i right or wrong still this all is very counter intuitive even though i understand this fully

the part people miss is that in all three examples there was 2N acting on the spring at each end.

You have the bridge wire drawn incorrectly on the second drawing. The parallel resistors are not in series with each other in the circuit.

It is correct, since an ideal ammeter has zero resistance and can thus be replaced by a wire.

So from what I gather, you pretty much calculate the speeds required to maintain the circular orbits, and also get the formula for the speed at a distance r from the earth to the satellite for elliptical orbit. Then you calculate the speeds at aphelion and perihelion for the elliptical orbit (rp = a(1-e) and ra = a(1+e), in our case rp=r1, ra=r2) and then calculate the delta Vs.

Can you please do a video that explains why a plectrum falls downwards, yet comes to rest at a locus of just more than a hand’s length underneath a sofa or other inaccessible crevice, regardless of the floor covering? Thanks.

I studied the image for a few minutes and it finally hit me. The answer is back pressure Watson. The air which can’t fit through the tube bounces back against the forward pressure. I still need need to work on the ball in the faucet.
