Over the course of a few years in the late 80s - these guys terraformed flatland freestyle and laid the groundwork for what it is today. Just pure creativity. True visionary artists.

The smooth fluidity of Nathan Penonzek in that first clip was so refreshing. I love mid school style like that!

Watching this in 2024 takes me right back to 1996 and me and the boys (RIP Lee) watching this in the flat then going tearing up the streets (and our clothes). Good times, engrained in my mind forever.

You are the man. Thanks for holding this. I watched this so many times back when I was 17 I can still remember all the songs in it. I gave this tape away back in like 1999 and haven’t seen it in 25 years until now

Omg I rode the Claygrounds every day from 1994-97. Rode all summer with Daniel Sprague and his 16 year old partner Greg Kitchin. Greg would get hit by a truck and killed back in Australia in 95 or 96. I was at that jump jam too, but I was only 11 years old. Had to sneak onto the track to get one chance at a no foot cancan and crashed so hard in front of a bunch of pros and industry people. Been searching for footage of these jams for years and never knew there was a Props episode.
