i saw this film in Armenia in Nairi cinema last year. I was soo touched that i was crying. Thanks to our assyrian brothers and sisters from USA and Russia and to armenians for their supporting. i hope that one day we shall join again in our big country!

It's unbelievable that a people with no homeland, with almost our entire population killed or living in exile, and with very little money can produce such top notch people of the highest caliber like singers like Linda George to Evin Agassi, writers like Freydun Atouraya to Rosie Malek-Yonan, poets like William Daniel to Hannibal Alkhas, and now directors like Henri Charr. Also people of the highest quality running our organizations like Assyrian Aid Society or Assyrian Universal Alliance and our churches. Our artists of all genres and people who work for our nation sacrifice so much for us and do the work of ten people with just passion and love as their motivation. This is the reason for their high quality. Imagine the quality of the people we would produce if we had our own country. Finally, this movie is here that I always dreamed an Assyrian or Mel Gibson would make. It’s such a tragic and sad story, that I’m surprised movies were not made before. But it’s better to wait for the right time and do it right.

Thank you for bringing history to life through this wonderful production and thank you AUAF for sponsoring such an important part of our recent history which will eventually enable us to analyze the present better…. Let's hope knowledge of the history of such a great Assyrian man puts our current situation in perspective.

Thanks God! This is one of the hopes for us Assyrians in Iraq our motherland to prove we still alive and our nation is alive.

Can't wait to see this film, hopefully it will be available in Toronto, Canada soon.
