I'm surprised that Toyota fan boys are this ignorant. I always felt like they would be smarter than red necks. But very few comments pointing out that the pickup has a huge disadvantage due to the lack of weight over the rear axle. Do the same test with a 3.5k Turbo Expedition against a Toyota Tundra.

I have both a jeep and a land cruiser. My Land Cruiser is heavier and could easily pull my jeep.... So this video is accurate. But, they are made for different reasons and standards. Jeep is smaller, Land Cruiser is larger However, when we had 18 inches of snow and my Land Cruiser got stuck down the hill, my jeep was able to pull my Land Cruiser up my street and into my driveway. Off road riding- My wrangler, without hestitation. Snow- My Wrangler. Flood- My wrangler-sits higher Long distance, My Land Cruiser -More comfortable . Country road driving-My Land Cruiser-Just a smoother ride Windy storm-My Land Cruiser- Doesnt have a lite plastic roof Both are very good vehicles. If I have to pick one...my jeep, just more versatile

I have a Lexus 2005 GX470. People still have no idea just how far ahead Toyota is in their off road abilities. My 470 is a small tank with comfort and off road capabilities galore. The 4.7 V-8 is fantastic. Plenty of low end grunt and fair gas mileage. I would not own the 5.7, they are huge gas hogs.

The only people with 'no idea' are the yanks. Those of us that drive in actual difficult conditions (Australia, South Africa, Saudi Arabia) have all bought Toyotas (or the Nissan Patrol - Nissans version of the Landcruiser) for the past 50 years. Hell even the lowest base model Jeep on the TJ and Cherokee they sold stock in Australia back in the day came with 4x4 and Dana 44 diffs. USA - 2wd ... but even with the 4x4 option in the USA came with 30 rears LOL! Even Chrysler knew there was no point *attempting* to sell the trash they sell in the USA in the Australian market.

Both jeep and Toyota are best in their places but Toyota has road tyres and jeep has offroad tyres so jeep is not making such a great grip on road so it will lose but in grassy or muddy are land cruiser will lose definetly so tyre plays an important role
