I was ice fishing for crappie yesterday. I had a dead minnow on the ice that was smushed so i kicked it into the hole. 2 seconds later i look dow and see a 20lb carp come throughrite under the ice and suck up the minnow i dropped

With such clear water those steel leaders are prib costing you alot of bites id guess. Didnt even know people use them anymore. Everyone i know uses 30lb floro.

What’s the parking like for access to lake clear? Would love to make the 2 hour trip to get out there sometime. By the way, great footage and some beauty eyes!
@CastandConquer6 күн бұрын
Look up lake clear public beach right beside sandy beach cottages. The cottages are amazing spot to stay right in front of the fishing grounds and Lyle the owner is a gem. If not at the public beach you can park and walk straight out from there.

Nice video guys. You really put the hammer on them. Looked like you were having a blast. I have a question about rigging your bait. If you were in Ontario where you could use live bait, would you still be rigging your minnow the same way when using the meat head jig with the stinger? Thanks
@CastandConquer7 күн бұрын
Yes I still rig them the same way. Like I said in the video normally I nose hook the minnow on the meat head then putting the stinger into the tail. Adam does the opposite but both would work great with live minnows in Ontario.
