This is a thoughtful spacious performance, allowing each phrase to speak. Virtuosic when appropriate, but never hurried. And allowing the harpsichord to sing. And never dull. A fine example of how to approach the freedom in this style. Thanks.

Brava! Beautiful performance, due to the clever chosen slower tempo, which allows your interpretation to highlight the inner meaning of this unique musical-work. Your limited use of the pedal, restricting it to few expressive places, makes this performance - perfect! Thanks for uploading.

Thank you for your kind comments!! It is a pleasure you enjoyed with this video! I played most parts with my finger pedals, and only use the damper pedal in a few places. Also, since this recording was made using the Zoom platform and the recording equipment is not the best, I feel that it is difficult to convey the real truth of the sound.;)

Neat to see an original one keyboard harpsichord, the technicals about instruments baffle me, though it is still interesting to see an original one keyboard harpsichord as I knew they existed as a single keyboard.

The beautifully played part lines - compliments - make it clear why J. Champion de Chambonnières is one of the greats. A fine little clavichord. Thank you very much. Chambonière can be played all day long - varied and very good music.
