yeah. it's a mod so it's user created. could be missions? yes, desperate measures does indeed have live action briefings, on the first mission of each operations. it's possible they weren't able to play it due to the lack of disc or a rip version.

that's like, the best case scenario, but with that learning ai, I think it will no longer be a game, it will be more of a simulation. with regards to having a new game for mechcommander, I agree. While we do have battletech and phantom brigade to fill our hunger for a strategy game with mechs, those are turn-based. I also hope we get a new mechcommander style game.

Thank youu! Hehe well I am running on windows 10. I simply got an iso, mount it(windows 10 can do this natively, 11 as well), copy paste the contents to a folder in my disk drive, run mcx.exe.

reinstalling drivers = requires new shader compilation. hehe it happens when something updates. even if you did play in the same maps, your enemies might bring new items(SKINS), a grenade exploding somewhere new.(that also needs shader compilation) yeahhh it's something like that. even if you did set the shader cache to 10gb it's empty, it must be filled, and for that to be filled is for cs 2 compiling shaders on the go. best solution is to have a loading screen like the old times checking and compiling EVERYTHING before playing, because as you might have notice, loading screens are gone. there's really nothing we could do, it's in the developers territory. as for the user, I would recommend installing cs 2 on an SSD, and make sure you don't max out your ram. in that way, compiling should be insta quick. Cheers buddy!

@@demotry Yeqh i have been playing the game after it but it does full shader compiling every time. And im running 32 gb ram and highest i have seen is 16.5 gb, i have m.2 ssd so its not that either. It just seems like its not creating cache at all. The compiling itself is not an issue since it takes 30 seconds. But the shitty part is that it creates bad stuttering for first 4 rounds of the game. Considering all the problems the game still has i quess i have to just wait for an update that fixes it Thanks for answer bud!
