Sid spoke to me on a spiritual and emotional level. I had a traumatic experience that destroyed my ability to have a healthy relationship when I was a teen. Even as a man, I’m still learning how to let go of the past. I also struggle to learn healthy social skills instead of hiding in fear.

This is why I love Sid for what he even Diego did for Manny, helping him to go on with his life. Sid gives Manny the important advice to let go of his past and focus on his future and Diego advices Manny to go with Ellie. Truly a great development for Manny in the first two movies and it never would been done without Sid and Diego who are his only good friends. ❤
