I love how the old mobsters are so intimidated and confused by something as simple as Ka'yu'ga... When he demands, "HWT THE GUCK IS KAYUGA", he points his gun at him. He's plinting his gun not at the mam, but the foreign concept. It's such a perfect part of the scene that people don't mention. But is essential. They old gangsters aren't threatened by him, but "Kayuga", something nebulous and threatenwing to them. They couldn't shoot the phrase "kayuga", so they shoot a pigeon that represents "kayuga' to these old mobsters.

The dog staring at him... With the cold, dark RZA/ Raekwon instrumental thumping. Serenading like a haunting lullaby...This film brings a somber peace. A cold, empty, almost death-like feeling. But yet, also, purely peaceful. To the core. And spiritual. In a beautiful way. No other film invokes the feelings that this film does. Dad showed it to me at 12 and it changed me. Got me in tune with things most 12 yr olds are not even Jarmusch has a unique artistic genius that Juliard could never teach. Masterpiece.
