I Did drywall taping for 3 years .never joined a union and learned alot... I stopped to go to school but it hasnt been going good.. might go back to taping

Projects you will see and visit for years to come. Well put Albert. When ever I drive thru Balboa Park I remember working with my father, brother, cousins & friends on Plaster Restorations to all the Museums in Balboa Park. When I drive back to LA from San Diego on the I-5 we drive past the Mormon Temple in La Jolla. I was the 1st Plasterer on that project with a Tender creating samples. Those are just two projects that stand out to me right now writing this reply to you and our members. As time passes we as the workers will always tell our friends and especially younger people that we worked on that project. Who was with us and the difficulties we had. About the celebration we had when we completed it. Who doesn't like a topping off party? They are more than a project of a year, they are a project for a lifetime. I encourage other members to also reply and share a couple structural memories that stick out in their mind when you go by a favorite project. Thank you WWCCA for a wonderful 2020 Walter F. Pruter Project of the Year Awards Show. I enjoyed viewing the work and listening to the people in charge of these project for our great contractors. Congratulations to all the Winners! We truly have the greatest Wall & Ceiling Contractors Association in the United States.
