What scripture verse tells believers to celebrate this on a yearly basis? Having looked and looked for years in scripture, there is no scripture, where God asked us to do this or any reference to any of the disciples doing this? Of course we know Jesus died and rose from the dead but there is no reference to this "holiday". Instead there is Luke 22:17-21 where Jesus tells us what to do in remembrance of Him. Why is what Jesus asked us to do not enough? Maybe because this and other holidays tickle the ears, which we were warned about, 2 Timothy 4:3. What's more exciting than baskets, bunnies, eggs, new outfits, etc. Get back to God's word and drop this frivoulus nonsense.
