Hello Karen- This is a beautiful card! I am so glad to see this technique card! Absolutely lovely card! It was great to learn about the white in on dark card stock & then to be able to color it . This is an example of what my mother taught me growing up. “You are never too old to learn something new!” Thank you so much for sharing this card & the technique. Something beautiful to try…. Thought it had been a while since I saw a live from you. Hope your back to yourself. Cool card and have never used the masking tape. Why do you need to use the heat tool to get it off. Isn’t it suppose to be not that sticky.

Hi Wendy yes unfortunately since covid i seem to be catching anything going around!! The masking paper is great and sticks well but on occasion as it is so good it pulls the paper a little so just to make sue I use the heat tool. The other benefit of that is it makes it so you can re-use as it stays sticky :-)

Nice layouts! I was thinking you could have done a spotlight technique with New Zealand on the map. Either color it in or cut out and mat it, or both, if you really wanted to highlight it. You’re giving me some inspiration!
