Changing the lens on these is not that easy. Pretty poor design from a company like Oakley. Come up with a better faster less cumbersome way to change the lens please

Bought this helmet and it does not fit seamlessly with my flight deck XM goggles. At least a fingers gap no matter what I do. Sad because it’s a slick helmet but can’t have the gap.

pull the liner over the back of the boa first (slowly work it to get over and off). peel off the velcro by forehead (you need to then remove the glued on other velcro piece on the helmet frame that grabs your forehead). pull down on the ear pads, you have to get a good grip and pull very hard, they pull out violently, be mindful of not yanking on or hitting the boa cable in the process. after this, you can even adjust the positioning of where the boa is relative to the rest of the helmet / your neck/head. I made a video on my channel showing this. my helmet didn't fit right until i moved the boa down. Oakley does not mention any of this on their site or in the manual, kind of wack.

Ahh, Squeezing the nosebridge was what it was needing. Was really struggling but that did the tip and now changing lenses will be a breeze. Cheers!

If the inner or outer layer is damaged or the seal is compromised, then the lens will not perform to it's full potential and we'd recommend replacing the lens. There's a few issues in doing so, such as the duel layer goggle lens, tint matching and lens position to name a few. There are labs out there trying to overcome this and as soon as the technology becomes available we'll be on the case!

Protip: Buy the persimmon lens flight decks and then the prizm torch iridium lens. It comes out cheaper than the prizm torch iridium flight deck and a persimmon lens. So not only cheaper, but now you have a night lens as well.
