@@lukasblock3655 hi there... So an air pump will actually be adding oxygen to your aquarium... You will need a co2 cylinder with a regulator so you can adjust the flow, a bubble counter to see how much co2 you're adding to the tank and a diffuser which will create the micro co2 bubble which will mic with your water... Separately you'll need a co2 checker which is a coloured liquid that tells you how much co2 is in the water... Remember if you have plants that need a lot of CO2 this will also required slightly higher than normal levels of lighting too for about 6 to 7 hours of the day... Have your water Filteration running permanantly... Filtration will add oxygen to the water to help your fish and other living animals survive... What we do by adding in co2 is not to fill the tank with CO2 but to maintain a balance between the co2 and oxygen so you have to have both running... This is why it's important to have the co2 checker and make sure it's at that green level colour so you know there is a balance between co2 and oxygen for both your plants and fish... Also remember that having good levels of oxygen also helps your beneficial bacteria with breaking down the ammonia in the tank too... So keep your light cycle as you have and have both co2 and o2 running and maintain the co2 checker at a green colour so both levels are balanced... Hope this helps 🙂
