Melanie, if you mean why use a 'Visual Automation', it's because that serves as a container in which to share the landing page (which is otherwise not shareable). If I misunderstand your question, let me know and I'll explain further.

Once again, on my first day, thank you John. I will most likely be employing this strategy in the future as my list grows. Your style is refreshing. Art

Thank you John. I am just now in the process of building an email list with KIT and your presentation answered the questions that, for me, were most perplexing. Your video is much appreciated. Art

Awesome video John. One of my website customers has decided to use Kit and I didn't know anything about it. After watching your video I was able to design and set up the landing page for them pretty quickly. Thanks so much!

Hi John, thanks for the detailed article about the advanced mapping of scorecard answers into convertkit! That was really helpful! One quick question though: If someone has no clue about the liquid method of customizing the mails, are there other ways of using all the great info from the Scorecard answers to personalize an email sequence? Like for example having certain answers trigger certain tags in Convertkit, which then lead to different sequences being sent? Or maybe I can even use the data in the custom fields to determine who gets what kind of email or not in the same sequence? Thanks again, your article was extremely helpful!

Thanks, Tobias - glad it was helpful. And yes, of course, there's no need to use Liquid code if you don't want to. There are many ways in which you can take advantage of the data collected, e.g.; • Use conditional logic inside your Visual Automations (i.e. if {{ subscriber.custom_field }} = 'value', do this, else do 'this other thing'. • You can serve different email sequences, depending on the values collected - if subscriber gave answer 'x', send sequence 'x', answer 'y', send sequence 'y' etc. My advice is to start with your desired outcome, and then work backwards to implement the relevant logic in Kit (formerly ConvertKit). I hope this helps.
