Ive got the 3.1 version for yamaha pw s2 ,, mine seems to have set at 61 mph , also the the speed limiter goes up in 4s , and i can still set it to factory set auto mode also is there a different chip that connects to the app as i cant seem to connect with bluetooth, thanks

MTBs don't really need to destrict . you will never be able to maintain a consistent up hill speed of 25kph and downhill doesn't matter because one rarely needs the assistance from the motor .

Hallo bei Mir geht es um den Cube Reaction Hybrid Race 750 (Motor: Bosch Mittelmotor Performance Line CX Smart 250 Watt) Display: Bosch Kiox 300. Ich möchte Mir nun auch einen speed box zulegen, leider weiss ich nicht welches am besten geeignet wäre für mein E Bike. Ich sehe es gibt einmal den Speed Box 3.0 und dann noch Speed Box 1.1 und noch 1.1 B Tunning Version. Also welches wäre den am besten für meinen geeignet welches würden Sie Mir empfehlen? Über eine Antwort würde ich Mich freuen :-)

Hi. Here are our recommendations on how to avoid the error: We strongly recommend using other safety features and protective gear to prevent injuries. We recommend not updating the firmware of your e-bike. Updating increases the risk of tuning detection. Please disable automatic updates in the eBike Flow App. Please note that the warranty of SpeedBox products does not apply to malfunctions caused by updating the motor. When stopping for a short time, in order to continue riding smoothly, we recommend keeping one foot on the pedal so that the countdown does not start. When stopping for a longer period of time, allow at least a partial countdown to take place. After a long ride, the countdown may take several minutes. Do not remove the display if the countdown has not been finished. Activate/deactivate the tuning before the ride (when the e-bike is standing still), not during riding. We recommend not to exceed a speed of 35 km/h.

If limp mode ever occurs, we recommend the following procedure: Uninstall the SpeedBox from the motor. Ride the e-bike without assistance for about 90 minutes, sometimes less is enough. You don't need to ride all at once, you can interrupt the ride. Once the motor assistance is working again, ride at least 10 km, change gears and assistance modes. This will reset the system. Then you can reinstall the SpeedBox.

Good day. I just bought speedbox 3.1 b tuning but decided not to install it for the mean time. Is this Speedbox can cause damage to ebike motor or battery in the long run? Will it burn out the motor when you set up in higher speed? thanks for replying.

Hello, Thank you for your question. The SpeedBox is installed using a non-invasive method, simply by connecting it to the connectors. Therefore, it cannot damage the motor. SpeedBox removes the speed limiter but does not increase the motor's power on its own. Therefore, it does not cause overheating or similar issues. :)

Hello. If you don't have a display, you can activate SpeedBox in the classic way using the WALK function or using the - + - + buttons. You just won't see whether tuning is active or deactivated. For such cases, we recommend the B.Tuning version, which you can pair with our SpeedBox App via Bluetooth 🙂

Hi, The Interface X should not affect the activation buttons. However, without a display, you won’t be able to see the value changes upon activation (99 km/h) or deactivation (25 km/h). We recommend the B.Tuning version, which can be connected to our SpeedBox App.

Hi. We recommend removing the battery from the e-bike, as installing the chip interferes with the e-bike motor, even if it is only a matter of disconnecting and connecting the connectors. If you don't remove the battery during installation, the motor should not explode and the SpeedBox will work. But please take it as a recommendation to guarantee the functionality of our product 🙂

Hi. There are two products for e-bikes with a TCU: 1) SpeedBox 3.0 (B.Tuning) for Brose. Installation in the motor compartment. The chip can be activated/deactivated on the display. 2) SpeedBox 3.0 (B.Tuning) for Specialized - newer product. The chip is still active, but installation is very simple as it is done under the TCU on the frame.

I don’t have any place inside of the housing to store the rim magnet simulator. Can it be placed on the outside. I drive through a lot of mud and do 50km a day in rain and other weather. Is it very weatherproof?

@@SpeedBoxTuning In der Produktbeschreibung von dem Kurbelabzieher steht, dass er nur für Bosch Motoren geeignet sei. Habt ihr auch einen Kurbelabzieher für Bafang Motoren? Zur Position des Motors: es handelt sich in meinem Falle um einen Bafang M400 Mittel Motor. Danke bereits im Voraus für eine Antwort!

@@fabifna Für das E-Bike in diesem Video wurde ein Kurbelabzieher verwendet, der sowohl für Bosch-Motoren als auch für diesen M400-Motor geeignet ist. Allerdings kann nicht zu 100 % garantiert werden, dass es für alle Bafang-Motoren passt. Die Kurbelgewinde von Bosch-Motoren können andere Durchmesser haben als die Kurbelgewinde einiger Bafang-Motoren. Entschuldigung für die vorherige Empfehlung. Am besten fragen Sie beim nächstgelegenen Fahrradservice nach. Vielen Dank für Ihr Verständnis.

Hi. SpeedBox for Bosch Smart System products manufactured in April 2024 and later are compatible with the latest update. In theory, there should be no older models on the market now. If you have updated software with the serial number 13.x.x, it may happen that the activation using the Walk feature will not work now. However, for engines with the Smart system, we recommend not to exceed an average cruising speed of 35 km/h to prevent the risk of tuning detection.

Hallo. Vereinfacht ausgedrückt: E-Bikes verfügen über eine Unterstützungsbegrenzung des Elektromotors, die auf 25 km/h eingestellt ist. Aber dank der SpeedBox können Sie eine Stunde lang mit einer Geschwindigkeit von 35 km/h fahren. Nach einer Stunde Fahrt hält man an und in diesem Moment ergibt sich ein Unterschied von 10 km, den man in dieser Stunde zusätzlich gefahren ist, was das Steuergerät „nicht versteht“. Diese Diskrepanz kann dazu führen, dass das E-Bike das Vorhandensein eines Tunings erkennt und einen Fehler meldet. Aus diesem Grund muss nach einer längeren Fahrt das E-Bike eingeschaltet bleiben und die SpeedBox die Differenzkilometer berechnen lassen, die einer Höchstgeschwindigkeit von 25 km/h entsprechen. Diese Neuberechnung erfolgt natürlich beschleunigt, kann aber im Allgemeinen einige Sekunden bis einige Minuten dauern (je nach Geschwindigkeit und Distanz).

Yuba Spicy Curry- cargo line I just bought and installed it on my bike. The damn thing works. I had to do the plus minus option. I rolled down my hill that reaches 35 mph. Normally the engine cuts off at 20mph. I could hear and feel the engine going that I pushed it to 40mph. I doubt I’ll ever continuously pedal that speed, but it’s nice I can actually pedal finally passed 20mph.
