Had to take advantage of yesterdays dip added another 2000 shares. We have Nio day coming and we have our first 30,000 monthly sales less than two weeks away. I also suspect Q4 will be a great earnings report with another improvement on margins. 22,000 shares cost bases in the low $5 range. I also own enough leaps that if Nio runs to $12 anytime next year my leaps will create enough profits that my Nio shares will all been payed for making my 22,000 shares all on house money (aka shorts). I will start trimming when Nio hits $50 my guess is 2028. People hate shorts but without them we wouldn’t get to buy Nio @ a ridiculous 9 billion market cap. Even if Nio just does okay it’s an easy 5x over the next 36 months. Also I would rather have my capital tied up in a company that is trading at lows because if a crash does come Nio May drop 10-15% what do people think will happen to the growth companies that have 4-10x over the last 6 months? Take PLTR as an example it’s gone from $6 to over $70 if a crash happens it’s back in the $20-30 range people will not let their gains evaporate without taking profits. I’m a PLTR investor and I plan to hold for a decade so no shade on them just using them as an example. Nio is way more comfortable for me to buy here, much like I was happy buying Sofi, hims, and pltr under $10 when everyone was panicking. What I see for Nio today is a risk to reward that favours a 10x return over a 100% loss and the probability of Nio bridging to profitability at about 70%. So I have a 70% to turn 100,000 into a million and a 30% chance to lose my investment. I’ve read a lot of investment books and listened to a lot of advice from successful people and two things stand out for me if you want to be successful you need to take risk and two you are hardwired to be fearful so learn to be okay with being uncomfortable. Some of my most successful investments were proceeded by uncomfortable moments and that’s where we are at with NIO today so embrace the suck and discomfort because on the other side of that could be life changing for you and your family. 😊

I think its not good news. I belived in the swapping technology...but if other car companies produce cars that have that technology, and build their own swap stations, I don't think NIO cars themselves are that special to be able to compete. Im hoping for the best, but Im worried that this is not good news.

I would love to hear your perspective on WHY management chose to build out an entirely SEPARATE POWER SWAPPING STATION NETWORK exclusively for FIRELY???? Why didn't they just design the car to be compatible with the 2,800 existing power swap stations for NIO and ONVO which are ALREADY BUILDING OUT AT AN IMPRESSIVE RATE ??? This is a huge mistake in my opinion. What is the benefit of building out an entirely NEW and NON-COMPATIBLE swap station network exclusively for FIREFLY???
