Harley Davidson is just a product manufacture WTF every one may as well get all out of shape with Samsung or Colgate ........ its a factory that makes stuff and in saying that the stuff they make an't that good I have had HD's in the past but got sick of the low performance and engine failures ......A factory making junk just like so many factories in today's world .......It's all brain bull shit

I'm hoping I don't learn the hard way with engine failures, fingers crossed I guess. This is my first Harley so I'm not up with the history of the engine issues they've had but I have a few friends with Harleys and they've been good and the power is more than enough for what I need but its only early days so I might jump ship eventually lol

Thanks mate I was a little worried about the sound quality but It turned out pretty well it just has to hold up to the abuse I put it through lol. I agree 100% mate, we are living in the age of the offended now. We act a little different down in the southern hemisphere than the rest of the world does, the more we like someone the more shit we give them lol I think that's true for both NZ and Aus for sure. Why do you guys making these bobber make the seat so high? Seat springs and a stock rear suspension?? That is not needed and defeats the whole purpose of the low rigid look frame. The idea is to make the seating position lower then stock not higher! If you keep your rear suspension your don’t need seat springs, give it a try, the lower seating position is much more aggressive then sitting up in the air!!! (I don’t know if you planned to use it in the final build but heat shrink tubing is the pro way to go compared to the plastic black tape on the wiring. Keep at it, good luck!!

Good Video dude the cam is in a good spot. A few things to add. Don't bother with an HD 883 as they go about the same as the xvs Yammi in a straight line however the Yammi will turn way better and stop better. Two, spend money on a power commander for the engine as it's the pre-set power curve on the stock ECU that holds the 650 back quite a bit in performance and a power commander will give the engine a way better advance curve on the power aspect. it's money well spent. Small video after a power commander install for you......link; kzbin.info/www/bejne/q6XNYoWYaZeFZ80 And Wow your bike will make a massive back fire on start up every once and a wile too!... mine does the exact same thing.Say every ten starts it will go Bang and then run.
@wizfiz7056
@wizfiz7056 6 жыл бұрын
Thanks mate, I've been hearing that about the 883 I was surprised and I love the look of them too maybe I should just go with the Stryker. Did you have to get a dyno after the new power commander? I think I'll have to invest in one :D Yeah the backfire is weird, its just a random start and pow lol
@rolandkeith5322
@rolandkeith5322 6 жыл бұрын
The Stryker is a very good bike and lots of good feed back about them is on the internet. And No need to Dyno the engine after a power commander install nor do you need to change the jets. And some power commanders will have a few maps to flick between as well. A re-jet is needed if you install a Kuryakyn Hypercharger but in saying that mine with the jet kit runs a bit on the rich side from 0 to 100 kph then swings over to lean from 100 and up. So the jet kit for the Hypercharger could be better. when I get some time I am going to take the heads off and re-port them and shave them down to get the compression up then I will do a full re tune. I have had my bike from new as I just love the look of them and technically the engines are awesome with plenty of room for hot Rodding. as it's a twin carbs OHV engine that's quite old school in it's design but that a good thing coz good power can be made form normal old school tricks. by the time I am finished with it i will be able to obtain 56+ Hp from all of that. then for shits and giggs I might get a set of cams made form billet by CNC. Keep in mind that a Harley-Davidson Iron 883 is only 46.7HP out of the box and is one second slower than a bolt down the quarter mile.
@wizfiz7056
@wizfiz7056 6 жыл бұрын
I will definitely check out the power commander but as of yesterday I have bigger problems. After a big ride and some rough roads my bikes has started backfiring like its possessed, mainly on deceleration but its always popped but these are full blown backfires, and I found an exhaust bolt snapped and thought that was the issue due to back pressure but alas it wasn't. I'm guessing the carby needle is sticking and letting too much fuel but taking into consideration I know next to nothing about motorcycles I will just let my mechanics look at it lol. I will definitely make a video about it all. I probably wont modify my bike too much if I plan to upgrade down the line but I've definitely got a soft spot for the xvs650, Its simple and amazing looking and you can change it to suit your style so much easier and cheaper than other bikes like Harleys etc
@rolandkeith5322

I understand about the up grade deal totally.I have had a few bikes over the years but I have settled down with the two that I have got now and that been the 650 Yammi and the Ninja. The Yammi is a total fun bike I can ring it's neck out around the streets and not end up in gaol for doing 260kph in a 60 zone and stuff like that were as the ninja I would. But the ninja is a awesome long distance bike and one of the best machine ever made but a bit bulky to pop over to mates place with or just go to the shops and stuff like that. plus the 1400 is so hot the amount of heat that comes off of it is amazing so I run that bike in winter mainly coz in summer one would BBQ them selves indeed.
