I used this same idea on my nice Khaki bean bag chairs from Pottery Barn kids over 20 years ago. Young people still like to sit on them to play video games because they’re comfy. The fabric in these is quality & can be washed. There are many things you can use to fluff them back up. But, comforters & blankets you already have are Free! AND it gives you an easy place to store those blankets. Even if my adult kids have a party, we take keys! And not one of them has objected. We’ve had them sleep everywhere. Bean bag chairs stuffed with blankets for exhausted people w/o quite enough beds find these pretty comfy for a night. Give them an extra pillow on the outside for their heads & throw blankets to cuddle. Not particularly comfy for a weekend stay, but for young adults to have a free, safe place to crash, it’s definitely worth it! And khaki goes with almost any decor, but not as reg feature. They can go in a closet or in the corner of a game room. Thanks for showing me how to expand on the idea for your saggy/couch. They don’t make ‘em like they used to!

How old is your son? We just introduced this app to our daughter. 2 years old. She is doing aac trials with slp. I like the layout of the learning tab. Have you watch the KZbin tutorial on how to add video clips? With that we have added read aloud book and interactive songs- she is finally mimicking and making word approximations now

Hi I have a question. I used ounces for the measurements for a Fried chicken recipe. (Recipe yield is 84 which = how many pieces comes in the case of chicken) Each piece of chicken = 4 ounces. Each order receives three pieces of chicken which = 12 ounces. I entered 12 in the Units in the original recipe box. I'm confused when it comes to the Per unit ingredient cost box. For the Total ingredient cost (one package) Do I put 3 which represents the number of pieces of chicken? or 12 which represents the ounces of chicken per order? Thanks
@startwithpaint
@startwithpaint 2 ай бұрын
👋🏾 yield = 1 (you’re trying to figure out the cost of making an order of 3 wings) Total = 84 bagged wings Hypothetically it cost $49.99 Per unit price = 0.60 Units in Product = 3 wings Product cost = cost of 3 Wings= 1.80 Then add in you labor cost The ounces does matter for wings as you can’t make wings from scratch. Knowing ounces is need for breader or flour for chicken but not chicken itself Hope this helps!

Wow , it’s crazy I came across this video. That’s from my business ( Paint Of View). You ordered around the time I just started & I’ve changed a few things since then 😌 The thank cards now include all of my social media platforms & the materials in the back are now placed in a smaller cellphone bag to avoid it from being all over the place 😂😂 but I’m glad you like everything for the most part. I will definitely look into personalizing the box when the opportunity presents itself ❤️ thank you for supporting me! It means more than you know 😌

I am a current member of America in Minneapolis and need to walk away. My particular group with recovery care dealing with the opioid crisis is so unorganized and micromanaged. Every two weeks I fight for my very small, living stipend, which, by the way, is not recognized by the state of Minnesota, and I don’t even get food stamps. There is no communication Between members and I feel isolated. Again, I don’t understand why the CEO needs to make 1,000,000 1/2 a year and the rest of the people need to be stressed out and work in poverty. Actually people who live in poverty, make more than we do! Not worth it in my opinion.

It was the same for me at my americorps group. My Team Lead especially did not help us in any capacity. I was treated with more respect by the people we were working with/serving than the actual AmeriCorps leadership.

Thanks for this video. I was in Americorps Vista for a few months and had to leave due to mental health issues worsened by the long hours. I couldn't even get 8 hours of sleep at my placement. Despite working over 50 hours a week, there were still duties left incomplete because it was impossible to do all that was asked of me. There simply was not enough time in the day, even with me working during breakfast, lunch, and my commute. My mother wants me to rejoin Vista because it's a "good opportunity". I'd much rather work part-time and volunteer outside of Americorps the rest. While some people have spoken well of the Vista program, it seems that not all placements are created equal.

That is true not all placements are the same. I heard of a similar situation where the executive director using vista to run personal errands after 8hr shift. The Vista told the Lead Vista and was placed with another organization. The organization was not used the next year. On a positive note: being a VISTA definitely has its perks!

Great idea. But I am wondering what to do for the foot board as that may still be visible in my daughters dorm room. It was last year but not sure how the new dorm bedroom layout will be. Of course, she may put items there on the outside of the bed. It may be best to try to purchase 3 curtains. One of the best DIY dorm room projects I have seen.
