It sounds soooooo goooood! I had a 81 maxim xj550 and a 82 seca xj650rj. Traffic and road conditions always make me stay away from another one, though. Stay safe man!

Sharp looking build, really like the Benelli style tanks on these bikes. I just started another cafe build on a 1981 XJ750 SECA, having a hard time finding a seat with a wide enough front to match up to the rear of the stock tank. Might borrow your design idea.

Hey I’m new ish to the biking world my entire family has ridden motorcycles but I haven’t and I’m about to buy an Seca 750 as a first bike and make it a cafe racer I was just wondering what front forks should I buy for it and how do you even get a better exhaust for such an old bike thanks for your help your build is badass.

Thanks. I shortened the stock forks and put an open exhaust on it. Good luck with your build!

Yes, you will need to relocate the gas tank mounts.

I put the battery is under the seat. The tank is a benelli tank. For more info on the build check 076motors.nl

Nice build, I have one of these in the "cue" waiting, doing an R6 Cafe right now. I really like the look of the Benelii style tank on yours, very nice overall design, well do sir!
