How to turn a Keeshond into an Elkhound in one grooming session!!!!

For as long as it took her to groom this dog, I don’t blame it for trying to bite her. I have had Kees since 1977. All canadian Champions and five of them were Best in show winners. It should never take that long to groom one. Also, using a slicker brush is much easier on the coat and dog instead of combs. Combs catch in knots and pull which hurts.

Actually the German Shepherd was developed from these white shepherding dogs.

Never sissors on them ... if you were to take him to a show and the judge see that he see that he has been cut with sissors thats a minus 👎🏻

First video I’ve seen of the difference. Before and after. We’ve a rescue wire and he was shaved/clipped. It’s now growing fluffy and long so think he needs to be stripped as it’s a bit stinky. Couldn’t understand how other wires have such short coats. This video explains why.

I've had 3 Keeshonds. They usually have such sweet and non threatening personalities. I think the dog snapped because it's paw must have had a sore spot. I know from grooming my dogs, they hate having their paws messed with. I do all the grooming myself, except for the nails. I have to take Gabriel to the groomers because he keeps jerking his paw away from me when he sees the nail clipper. But he will let the groomer cut his nails!

I wonder why she didn't use the type of brush that removes the undercoat. He was a trooper!

Oh and BTW you don't even know how to use a dog's protection hoodie type thing for his ears I've seen most groomers on videos do it the correct way all you do is slide it over his head and it makes the ears go backwards and makes a loud noise in their ears they hear so loud in their ears you did not even pull the ears down to make them go flat against their head so it wasn't so noisy like won't be able to hear it so loud you did not do that though you just put it over the head and the ears flop backwards and they hear that dryer real loud in their ear

When most groomers I have ever seen watching a video they would at least explain about the dog or what does the customers want about their dog people always talk about their dogs that they work with or they talk about what they're going to do for the dog like do their nails or when they give them a bath what kind of shampoo goes on the dog you don't even say nothing I've never seen a groomer that who does a video and just not say a word to your people that's watching the video that's just like being rude we don't know what you're doing or nothing because you know we don't know the age of the dog how old is the dog you never said since you're not talking and what kind of dog is he people like to know that need to know everything about what goes on with the dog most groomers I've seen so far have always talked on their videos they at least they tell you what goes on with the dog they say how old the dog is you're the only one I came across all of a sudden don't say crap like we're supposed like we are supposed to know everything we don't you need to start talking about your video let people know what you're doing what kind of dog they are how old is the dog that kind of thing
