This is remarkable. My mother was brought up in Vale Road , Reddish. I watched the ski jump being built. I was one of the lads throwing hay about at the end of the jump. I was 7 years old. It inspired me to take up skiing in my teens at school (SGS)

This is remarkable! My mother was brought uo in Vale Road , Reddish and my grandmother was living there in 1960. I well remember this as I watched it being built, and I was one of the lads throwing hay about. I was 7 years old. It inspired me to take skiing in my teens at school ( SGS).
