Not getting the parallels in this song at all. In fact she should have done a bit more research first. Having been raised in Manitoba I can say that it is not even close to the Arctic Circle and is full of phenomenal beauty including over 100,000 lakes and amazing parks....and even polar bears on the shores of Hudson Bay.
