Almost similar. Left joystick moves like keyboard and right joystick + moving the controller behaves like the mouse.

You know i feel like they should add, something on controller like, basically you can choose to fully remove aim assist but you can now use tap straef but if you have aim assist, tap straef is unavailable until you remove aim assist

Apex should have never released on console with how much they hate controller players. Unpopular opinion amongst Apex and FPS players, all of this is so much easier on MnK. So we have more control over our weapons and we have tap strafing. They should have never nerfed controller, and they shouldn't have removed the ability to use steam configuration to modify as a keyboard input for tap strafing on a controller. It's not like it's hard to do on MnK. They just hate controllers for some dumb reason.

Configs were removed because people started using scripts which allowed them to have no recoil and stuff, controller was always the better input and now after the nerf it might be equal or still be the better input stop complaining
