when im sanding my wheels are turning black on the parts i sand. will this go away after a polish or what could i do?

That’s weird not sure tbh, if the wheels are aluminum they shouldn’t turn black

Thanks for posting buddy. I've been thinking about adding these to my 2014 Red in color 370Z. Those mats look great! I love the JDM style checkerboard mats. It really sets off the interior and makes it look better in my opinion. I wish more JDM cars would come with these style mats as stock. The only car I ever saw that had them stock was an older model Nissan GTR which may have been a special edition GTR only sold in the JDM market, not here in the USA. I'm just not sure if I want the red/black checkerboard mats or if I want the black/grey ones like you show here. My interior is black and my paint is red. I'll probably get the color you show here just so it matches well with the black stock interior. I was just thinking that the red/black would be a cool contrasting color. The only problem is they don't make the rear hatch back/trunk area mat in the red/black. But they DO make the rear checkerboard style mat in this color (black/grey) so it makes more sense for me to get the color you show here so the entire car matches. Those look like they are well made mats which is different than most cheapo mats sold on Amazon or ebay. The P2M mats are a high quality thicker material mat more like the OEM mats.

I would go grey black!

Can't you just use that aircraft remover stuff then polish with mother's? Takes like 15-20 per wheel. No sanding.

Awesome video man. just a quick question. Is that shine long lasting? since there is no clear coat
@ToledoDIYАй бұрын
It’s stays shiny for a while but occasionally you will need to hand polish it, easy not too time consuming the first time is the hard one

@ToledoDIY I ended up starting off dry sanding with and orbital sander 220 grit and then I wet sand it with 220 by hand, then went up to 400 wet sand by hand, then went up to 600 wet sand by hand, then went up to 1000 wet sand by hand, then went up to 1500 wet sand by hand, then went up to 2500 wet sand by hand and then I polished it with 3 coats as you did and it turned out absolutely insane. My wheels were worse off then yours and ended up looking the same as yours. I had to use SOOOOO many microfiber clothes though. 😂
