LIES Minimal housing,poor wages,over priced sub par restaurants,horrible weather,worst roads anywhere(They actually won an award for one a while back), cabs quit at midnight.buses quit at 6pm. Emergency hospital visits are at least 4 hours, doctors never wanting new patients, a mall that is like a big Egyptian tomb, the worst Burger King on the face of the earth, and a historic downtown that is mostly gone. And the claim to fame? Al Capone. Good Grief.

$20+ cab ride to the ER when your lower income is a big hit in the pocket. I've seen a great deal of upstart businesses come and go over the last 10 years as well. I do however not desire to live any other place. Then there is the crime here right now, kind of a lot if it for the population we have. I live in the center of town by crescent park and there is no way I'm going for a walk after dark, it's just not safe. What the city is now, is a bedroom community for out of town work.

Is there public transportation?
@AxeMoose3 жыл бұрын
@@666mathew not at 2a there isn't and it's a rather long walk to the bus stop when your hurt or disabled.

I was born and raised there, and it will always b e home to me, even though I now live in Vancouver, B.C. Moose Jaw has always had it's own beauty and charm. Why should that surprise anyone??? LOL
@HarryOrchard-hb5nx2 жыл бұрын
It HAD it's own beauty and charm... PAST TENSE. Till liberal-minded morons took over administration, that is. It's a good place to die, now, having first depleted your life's savings in one of the myriad of 'homes' available.

every body shut you're ass up MJ is a great place we have the mosaic stadium i live here i would know and it is true that there is not alot of good paying jobs but you could always be a foreman so come on move to MJ its a great place
@twinkletoes222214 жыл бұрын
LOL... we live here and haven't once been to the M. stadium and NEVER plan to go there even tho they make us pay 100$ a year on our taxes. Bullshit!! Now Crescent Park and that fabulous pool is where I want my $100 to go to NOT a bullshit sports arena where business men had their hands in each others pockets.

Don't even consider moving here.This so called city is dying a slow death. The rate of seniors is so high that everything is for them,especially housing.If you want a minimum wage service sector job come on down.

Thanks for this! We may be moving near here soon.

Moose jaw is an awful place to live. Wages are very low,restaurants are terrible,the roads will destroy your vehicle,and the stores have nothing. The mall is a complete joke. The woman who posted this video is delusional.
@psychocity196311 жыл бұрын
These people are delusional. Moose Jaw has become a joke. City council is the worst ive ever seen,rent is skyrocketing,restaurants are awful and expensive,and the roads look like the surface of Mars.

Moose Jaw growing? New businesses in Moose Jaw? Let's look at all the business Moose Jaw has lost while Deb Thorn thinks she is in charge; gone are: Raider Industries, the cable plant, Sash and Door, Clorox, XL Beef, Inventronics, most of the oil refinery, Canada Packers' operations not only at the XL plant, but also to the east of MJ on Athabasca and Phillips Cable. All these businesses partially replaced by retail and restaurants. Deb Thorn's little fiction film is that - FICTION.

Great job representing Moose Jaw. Its a great place to live, there's lots to do and the people are very friendly. Too bad some people feel the need to be so critical all the time (klippster). I won't want to raise my kids anywhere else.
