In my opinion: English - Great voice but the the way he speaks does not fit. Sounds like he's narrating instead of voice acting. Japanese - The pacing is good but I neither like or dislike the voice. I guess neutral? Chinese - It sounds natural and it fits with the character too.

At first I was like 1. Japanese 2. Chinese 3. English But after playing the english dub his voice just grew on me. His voice and tone along with the formal way of speaking really matches his character as the oldest and wisest archon. We really need to remember that this is an old man who looks like a person in his youth. Don't get me wrong the Japanese and Chinese dubs matches his appearance and is really good but the English voice just takes the cake.

I kind of feel like some people are underrestimating Tomoaki Maeno as Zhongli, sure, to some ears, he sounds like the typical "anime protagonist" (Help me out here, I have watched over almost 200 anime and I still need to figure out what people mean with "sounds like a typical anime protagonist"?) I have played his story quest and his voice there, when he tells the Snezhnayan about his punishment, his voice is stern, firm and straightforward. He is *not* bullshitting around.

The Chinese one sounds like it the VA is trying so hard to sound composed plus it sounds like a tiny dude making deep voices. I genuinelly feel that Keith Silverstein did a perfect job with Zhongli.

They all have the own charm. but I literally have stuck to CN, since I started apart from the fact game didn't let me set the language option before I started so I missed out on Aether and paimons first cutscene and had to watch that in English. I am always tempted to switch to Japanese, due to some of the big name voice actors. But even after getting the characters I always end up sticking to CN and I just fall in love with it.

Personally I think the CN voice definitely fits his character the most which is no surprise given it's the original. His CN voice is elegant, more subtle with emotiones and sounds ancient at the same time. Zhongli is really not usually an outwardly emotional character, being the stone-faced archon who is retired and tired, and the English/Japanese voices are both too emotional for me. The English one is very nice and fitting for his wisdom and age, but some of his lines changes/adds/exaggerates different emotions that seem lost in translation. The Japanese one just sounds like a young, hot-headed, impatient fighter. While a good voice, doesn't fit his character.

Keith Silverman has such a distinct voice. It’s a shame though as many people(myself) included heard his works in others: Miraculous Ladybug, Persona 5, etc. It’s a bit harder to separate those faces when listening Zhongli

I can't say for others characters but they knocked it out the park in their choices of VA for Geo Daddy in each language imo. That said I am partial to the English voice. Sexy~

I have an impression at first that Zhongli was an antagonist because he is well acquainted with Childe through the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor. Another thing is that his outfit is kind of dark. His eyes also gives me a sharp villainous look. That deep voice also...

Zhongli's Eng voice really good, Childe's too. Though i don't play in Eng voice, but i have to appreciate it's really good. Personally perfer Jp but Eng is now my preference too. About chinese voice it's feel too deep according to Zhongli's young apperance, maybe it's normal maybe I'm not used to hearing chinese that much. But whatever every language VA's did their best(^^)
