❤ this was helpful. I like your morning time rotation for skill sets. I’m still perfecting mine for my littles; so, it’s great to see how others do it 😊 I’m a former private Christian school (and public) teachers also.

Just came across this video, great info! Can you tell me where you found the privacy shields that you were using for your kids desks? I’m starting homeschooling and can already see that sharing a table is causing some issues, I never thought about something like that but it seems like a great idea!

Thank you for sharing what you do. We have a bun of activities, but it is a great idea to sort them to ensure they are always doing something different and not get bored.

Sorting them all out seems to work well for us. We use to have a bunch of activities just sitting in one or two big containers together. I found that we kept pulling out the same ones each time and that some of them where never even getting used at all. Sorting them out allows us to make sure that we use them all and it definitely keeps my preschooler entertained since it’s something different every day. 😊

It’s lovely to see your kids can spend time with animals, which is not an easy thing to do living in a big city.

We like to try to find ways for our kids to experience hands-on learning with all types of nature. They would much rather see the animals, than just read about them in a book. It’s not always possible, but we try to find ways to make it happen when possible. 😊

Love how hands on you are with them all! Looking into homeschooling our twin boys and found this video very helpful! ❤ I’ve noticed filling their cup up with love first absolutely does help if I need to get other things done.

We are in the thick of it with an 18month old that is into everything while we try to do school. 😂 these are great tips! Breakfast is our most productive time while he is awake and then nap time is best for our more intensive subjects. I need to put together busy bins before next school year starts so I’ll go watch that video next ❤

Having an 18 month old is definitely in the thick of it! I personally think that around that age is probably one of the hardest seasons when homeschooling. (Especially when they’re on the move and really wanting to explore everything. 😂) I hope these tips were helpful! I’ll definitely be praying for you as you homeschool through this fun (and sometimes stressful 😉) time in your homeschooling journey. ❤️

for the pasta activity in the first bin, I would include pictures of the pasta in different patterns so that she could copy the pictures and recreate patterns! (which I see you did with the penguins)!

We put in our morning menu. My son is 12 and autistic so his learning level currently is 3rd grade-ish 1. Our Psalm we are trying to remember. 2. A worship song. 3. A Quote that changes but is usually about keep trying and don't give up. 4. Our art history study for the month. Times table used to be in there but switched to a small poster on the side of our bookcase.
