The Valley was unfortunately well known previously for high crime, dark & dingy alleyways littered with drugs and violence. After serious interventions cleaning up the Valley’s image by State & Local Governments involving expelling organised & underworld criminals, ID scanning & alcohol limits including changes to the criminal legislation particularly focused on protecting women, the Valley is now one of the safest places to enjoy a night-out with a good time, definitely a positive change compared to years past. Of course you are going to get small percentage of Creeps, Troublemakers and Thugs yet with strict laws in place including a high concentration of security and law-enforcement presences, definitely notice a higher percentage of female patronage in the area enjoying the nights atmosphere & entertainment in a matter of safely & enjoyed by all. I often film & record digital media in the Valley myself without fear or concern of being attacked or harassed which was once near impossible without security measures nearby.
