You need a moisturizer with ceramides. The ordinary has a good one and byoma has one too and they aren’t expensive. Also try putting butt cream on your face! I have a big tub of it and I use it every time I put tretinoin on which is everyday.

I’ve tried retinol so many times over the years. Even if I mixed it 50/50 with moisturizer and used it just 2-3 times a week, it still killed my skin. I have very dry skin and my favorite moisturizer for nighttime is the Weleda skin food. I think I’ve tried everything out there too. Btw, if your skin is dried out/ burned, putting oils or moisturizer on top probably won’t fix it. You’ll be trying to moisturize dead top layer skin cells which won’t do anything. I’d suggest a super gentle exfoliator like the Missha Hyluron or the aloe Vera one from Aloette. They don’t burn or sting at all but do remove the dead skin cells.

About Face just like REM Beauty are brands I thought would have more hype around them, but I definitely prefer About Face products more than REM Beauty. You can try doing sheet mask or aloe Vera mask. Basically anything hydrating . Also put them in the fridge for extra cooling ❤

I recently bought Laniege’s new face powder. It’s a skin care powder and incredibly hydrating, smooth and finely milled. Too Faced Born this Way powder is my holy grail. I have v dry and dehydrated skin and I’m in my 30s.

I had to stop my tretinoin after a year because my skin was just not happy... I would take breaks here and there and La Roche Posay Cicaplast B5 Balm is the only thing that would make my skin feel better while even aquaphor burned me... I even used Triple paste diaper cream over night ... I now use the prequel brand

I just bought one of the elf palettes that has blue in it. The moisturizer I love is from The Ordinary.

The D’alba half-serum half-cream is VERY good. I use that at night. Along with the spray (first). Game changer!

I have dry skin but since I been using La Roche posay the gentle hydrating cleanser and La Roche posay triple repair face and body cream I love it and if I get any dryness or dry lips I will use aquaphor healing ointment it’s amazing

I mix a tiny bit of my castor oil in a brown bottle along with a moisturizer and I do have oily skin

Have you tried beef tallow? It's helped my dryness and patches a ton. Can't find a better eye cream lol. You put it on tonight and in the morning you're still soft.
