Viper should have summoned a giant serpent 🐍 like midgardsormr(ff7) and then jump on top of it to then crash down with it with the viper forming the teeth

I think for all the mage classes Pictos is the weakest by far and that's saying a lot seeing as black mages is just "big rock, but from outer space" and vipers lacks any sort of impact

Hypervelocity is just so satisfying, I love how the character gets pushed away by the explosion. Trajectory should be much cooler though if the GNB trigger an explosion behind their back and propel themselves into the opposite direction.

As an AST main, I didn't really notice how beautiful lb3 is, usually because if it needs to be used by that point, everyone is in a state of panic LOL

LOL yeah, I’ve looked at it in Explorer mode but if I’m in a fight all I’m doing while the LB goes off is spamming Combust or Malefic to GTFO cause I’m stuck in place while mechanics are still happening.

I cant use limit break on my summoner idk why it gets stuck with a circle underneath the boss and does nothing. playing on controller btw if anyone has any suggestions on how to actually use it please let me know 0.0 been 1 month since I started.

The circle is the placement, you can move it around to make sure it’s under the enemies. Once you’re happy it’s in the right place press X on PlayStation or A I think on Xbox to trigger it

the most disappointing tank in the game It got one cool thing in Shadowbringers, but in practice is just an unreliable DOT. and Since then, has only gotten retains of Dark Passage. Needs a rework 6 years ago

The black mage animation is so underwhelming. You see this big ass meteor falling, and then the explosion strats before it toughed the ground, the rock disappears and smaller rocks appear in its place, the transition is so bad.

Fun fact: PLD, WHM, and BLM still use the generic role based LBs that were the initial system in ARR. That’s why they’re pretty plain (Pally is just a wall, well, that’s what the Tank role LB just was). Even more funny is since Bard was the only Phys. Range job, it used the healer LB since OG Bards were designed as the support job and their songs were mostly for MP and TP regeneration.
