I’ve always said that LP album covers, were our (Baby Boomers) music videos. You would look at and read the cover while listening to the record. 😉 That pretty much ended when CD’s took over. CD covers are just too small. 🫤

I picked up a digital copy of a bunch of stories by Knudsen a few years back. They’re really cool. 👌🤙 For many years, there was a place in Pearlridge called the “49th State Cafe.” It’s probably gone now, but it was open at least until the late 70’s or early 80’s. 😉

I wonder if Lalani Village later changed its name to Ulu Mau Village? My parents took me to Ulu Mau Village in 1969. It was located on the point, just next to Heeia Kea pier, but the man emceeing the show said that they had recently moved from Waikiki and he thought Heeia was a much better locale. I think it was from a natural setting perspective, but maybe not from a visitor perspective. It closed down completely not long after I went to it. 😢

Just FYI…the name ‘Elgin’ is pronounced with the “G” sound (as in gun), not the “J” sound (as in Elgin clocks). 😉👌

That’s great but the further south you go, the pleadies are going to rise in the east further to the north or in another house. Your zenith star will change to approximately 37 degrees from Hawaii to Tahiti. So is that a change of 1.5 houses

The name in Kiribati of the clothe that use for battle is Tuuta and belt for battle is Katibana. I think you have a name of those Kiribati armor, if don't have I can help. Because you do not say the name of those armor in Kiribati words.

Love the video. I just confused why the Nauruan traditional weapons is really the same with Kiribati like I saw in my research on Google. But as you know every pacific island near Kiribati are different and only Nauru is the same may be there is a story behind this. Just a question ❓
